The PUK Group started its commercial operation on the Iberian peninsula over 25 years ago, closely linked to the automotive industry. The first major projects in late 80s and mostly in the early 90s in Barcelona, Martorell and Pamplona were followed by the foundation of the subsidiary branch PUK-Portacables, S.L. in 1992 in Olesa de Montserrat. In the year of its creation and as a result of the business growth, the business headquarters moved to the town of Abrera, only 35 km from Barcelona. The new premises were intended to improve our service and sought to be closer to our customer base.
This was also instrumental in our decision to create a branch in Pamplona in 1995. The Pamplona branch covers the northern region of the peninsula, while at the same time housing the general level Technical Office of PUK-Portacables.
In 2012, PUK-Portacables opened in Madrid with a direct branch in the central region. In the same year, our underfloor systems found a firm foothold on the market, assisted by our team of experts in this field, while our photovoltaic structures, exceeding the total of 60 MWp, were supplied and installed.
In accordance with the Group strategy, PUK-Portacables bids for direct sales while acquiring commercial agreements with prestigious distribution groups throughout the Iberian peninsula.
