PUK Portacables is featured in La Vanguardia

The leading Spanish newspaper has interviewed our general manager and deputy director, Daniel Redondo and Sandra Redondo. In an exhaustive article that reviews the history of the company, the media has highlighted PUK Portacables as one of the most important companies in Spain in the manufacture of cable management systems.

The interview focuses on PUK Portacables' versatility to operate in different sectors thanks to its wide variety of cable clamping systems, which has allowed the company to work in different sectors over the years. Currently, at PUK Portacables we have the capacity to offer solutions for environments as varied as the industrial sector, construction technology, tunnels, infrastructures requiring fire protection, solar energy projects, as well as roofs and supports of all kinds.

During the interview, Daniel Redondo highlights the importance of cable trays as an energy efficiency measure. "Cluttered and unsupported cabling can cause unnecessary stresses and damage to cables, resulting in energy losses. In addition, during operation, cabling can generate heat, affecting the energy efficiency of a system," he says.

For her part, Sandra Redondo says that one of PUK Portacables' main goals is to encourage an evolution toward solutions that promote efficient cable management, which has become increasingly relevant to achieving an energy-sustainable cabling system.

The digitalization of PUK Portacables has been another topic that has had a presence in the article as a key commitment of the company to improve its internal processes and, consequently, offer a smoother experience to its customers. "This commitment allows us to manage our supply and logistics chain more efficiently, making it easier to reach new markets throughout the Iberian Peninsula more quickly and effectively," says Daniel Redondo.

Precisely in line with this expansion policy, the article also mentioned as an example the project that PUK Portacables is carrying out in the Lessarri tunnel in Begarra (Guipuzkoa). In this location, the company is supplying profiles and supports made of stainless steel, materials that are used to fix the trays and lighting along the tunnel, thus establishing a system that will ensure connectivity between the cities of Eibar and Vitoria.
